Thomas jumps on WIU in the top of the 2^nd scoring 1 run. WIU answers back in the bottom of the 3^rd to tie the game. The Night Hawks secures the win in the top of the 5^th scoring 4 runs. Jeremy Crosby goes 2-4 with 3 RBI's while Josh Brujin adds two more RBI's as he hit .500 for the game.

In the last game of the series WIU scores 2 runs in the first to take the early lead and tacked on 2 more in the 5^th to go ahead 4-0. The Night Hawks answered in the top of the 6^th with a 5 run inning starting with Tyler Palmer singling to third. WIU answered back in the bottom of the 6^th on a balk by pitcher Justin Hicks to knot the game at 5. TU scores in the top of the 9^th off a double by Trey Griffen (2-5, 3 RBI, 1 R). John Gainey (1-0) comes in in the bottom of the 6^th to hold WIU to no runs in 3 1/3 innings of work, as he records his first victory of the year.
