Webber International University (6-5, 2-2) blanked the visiting Night Hawks (5-2, 3-1) this evening in the opener of a Sun Conference three game series in Babson Park, Fla.

The TU bats, that produced 51 hits in last week's series against Florida Memorial, were limited to only four hits by Webber pitching. WIU benefited from two TU errors that led to two unearned runs. Senior starting pitcher Kurtis Gens (2-1) allowed six runs (four earned) on nine hits over eight innings.

Thomas and Webber will wrap up their three game TSC set with a double header tomorrow beginning at 12 p.m.
