Â
"[Tonight], I thought we played hard in spurts," stated head women's basketball coach
Coretta Brown. "We actually got to the free throw line more times than they did. We have got to learn to compete for 40 total minutes–that's how the game is played. There's a certain mentality that you need to have, and that's the message I've been preaching for months. It has got to be a collective effort though, and that starts every single day in practice."
Â
The Lady Knights improved to 4-0 on the season sending TU to a 4-3 record overall.
The Lady Night Hawks return to the court on Monday, Nov. 24 when they travel to Atlanta, Ga. to take on NCAA Division I opponent Georgia State University in an exhibition. Tipoff is set for 7:00 p.m.
