Junior Adonai Rogers has been named the Student-Athlete of the week for November 9-15, 2015.
Rogers led the Night Hawks to a 1-1 record on the week. His highpoint of the week came in Thomas' 68-66 overtime victory over Brewton-Parker where his free-throws down the strength and three pointer with .8 seconds left on the clock sent the game into the extra frame. During this stretch, Rogers scored 33 points, going a perfect 5-for-5 from the charity stripe, while bringing down 15 boards. The Lawrenceville, Ga., native leads the Night Hawks in scoring, averaging 14.2 points per game while shooting 30.4-percent from the field. Rogers ranks 20th in the NAIA Division II in free-throw percentage netting 88.5-percent of his shots from the charity stripe.
