Javoris Cooks has been named the Student-Athlete of the week for October 12-18, 2015.

Cooks, a Cordele, Ga., native, has been a dynamic leader for the men’s basketball team since the start of the 2015-2016 school year. Leading up to the start of the men’s basketball season that is just two weeks away, Cooks has been a leader in the classroom, weight room, and on the court. Recently, he was named a captain for the upcoming season. Cooks looks to lead the Night Hawks in their season opener on Oct. 27 against Point University.
