Senior Kaleb Holbrook has been named the Student-Athlete of the week for February 2-8, 2015.
Holbrook led the way for the Night Hawks (2-1) this past weekend in their opening series of the 2015 season against Middle Georgia State College. The 6-foot-1 catcher went 5-for-11 (.455) with a double, triple, and three singles. The Dawsonville, Ga., native collected eight RBIs and hit an astonishing .727 in slugging percentage. Behind the plate, Holbrook recorded 26 putouts and three assists in his three games of work. In game two of the series, Holbrook’s triple in the bottom of the seventh inning tied the Knights forcing extra innings where his two-out single up the middle scored the winning run.
Kaleb is a business administration major.
