THOMASVILLE, Ga. – Thomas University student-athletes continued to demonstrate excellence both in competition and in the classroom during the 2025-26 academic year, earning recognition across conference, national, and academic award programs.
The Night Hawks totaled 62 NAIA Scholar-Athlete honors, 76 SSAC All-Academic Team selections, and 14 SUN All-Academic Team selections, highlighting the success of Thomas University's student-athletes on the field, court, track, and in the classroom.
Thomas' SSAC All-Academic Team honorees were led by Baseball with 20 selections, Men's Soccer with 17, and Softball with 16. The Night Hawks also earned representation in Men's and Women's Soccer, Basketball, Cross Country, and Track & Field. Student-athletes earn SSAC All-Academic honors by maintaining a 3.25 cumulative GPA and holding sophomore academic standing or above.
Academically, Night Hawk student-athletes earned national recognition through the NAIA Scholar-Athlete program, with honorees spanning 11 sports. Swimming, Soccer, Baseball, Softball, Football, Basketball, Cross Country, and Track & Field were all represented among the prestigious academic award recipients.
To qualify as an NAIA Scholar-Athlete, students must maintain a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, appear on the eligibility certificate for their sport, and have attended their institution for at least one full year. This year's list features an impressive number of Night Hawks who met those rigorous standards.
Thomas University's Football, Women's Flag Football, Men's Swimming, and Women's Swimming programs also earned recognition on the SUN Conference All-Academic Team, an honor that requires student-athletes to have been enrolled for two full semesters or more and to hold a cumulative GPA of at least 3.5 on a 4.0 scale.
