THOMASVILLE, Ga. – Thomas University Athletics is proud to recognize its ongoing partnership with Dr. Brianna Millsaps and Quail Ridge Sports Medicine, a relationship that has played a significant role in supporting the health, safety, and performance of Night Hawk student-athletes over the past three years.

As Thomas University's team physician, Dr. Millsaps has become an invaluable member of the athletics family. Her expertise in sports medicine, commitment to athlete wellness, and willingness to go above and beyond for student-athletes have helped strengthen the university's approach to athletic healthcare and injury management.

One of the most visible examples of her dedication is her unwavering support of the Thomas University football program. For the past three years, Dr. Millsaps has volunteered her time to serve on the sidelines at every home football game, ensuring student-athletes have immediate access to expert medical care and evaluation when needed. Her presence provides peace of mind for athletes, coaches, parents, and staff while demonstrating a personal commitment that extends far beyond her professional responsibilities.

Dr. Millsaps brings an impressive educational and professional background to her role. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and a Master of Science degree in Cellular and Molecular Biology from Florida State University. She also earned a Master of Management degree from Davenport University before pursuing her medical degree at Saba University School of Medicine in the Caribbean Netherlands. Following medical school, she completed a residency in Family Medicine at HCA North Florida Regional Medical Center and went on to complete a fellowship in Primary Care and Sports Medicine at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. This advanced training has equipped her with specialized expertise in diagnosing, treating, and preventing injuries while helping athletes safely return to competition.

Through her work at Quail Ridge Sports Medicine, Dr. Millsaps brings cutting-edge sports medicine practices and modern treatment approaches to the Thomas University community. Her focus on injury prevention, performance optimization, recovery, and comprehensive athlete care ensures Night Hawk student-athletes have access to high-quality medical support both on and off the field. Quail Ridge Family Practice emphasizes modern medical technology while maintaining a personalized approach to patient care, a philosophy that aligns closely with Thomas University's commitment to student success.

Beyond her work in traditional sports medicine, Dr. Millsaps is also connected to one of the nation's most respected motocross training organizations through Millsaps Training Facility (MTF) in Cairo, Georgia. MTF has earned national recognition for its elite motocross training programs, advanced conditioning methods, and use of sports science technologies designed to improve athletic performance while reducing injury risk. Riders from across the country travel to the facility to take advantage of its professional coaching, structured training programs, fitness resources, and state-of-the-art performance development strategies.
