JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Thomas University Men's Track & Field team delivered a strong two‑day performance in Jacksonville, earning multiple top‑five finishes in the field events and steady marks across the track lineup. On Thursday, Ean Miller opened the meet with a fifth‑place finish in the high jump at 1.85 meters before adding a 12th‑place effort in the long jump at 6.23 meters. In the shot put, Connor Munn led the Night Hawks with a third‑place throw of 12.77 meters, followed closely by Jadon Parker in fourth at 12.28 meters. On the track, Jayson Evans paced the sprint group with a 22.23 in the 200 meters, while distance runners Landon Watts (4:18.43) and Nelson Lopez (4:22.99) turned in solid performances in the 1500 meters.
Thomas continued its momentum on Friday as Parker and Munn returned to place fourth and fifth, respectively, in the discus. Jerry Speights added one of the team's top marks of the weekend with a fifth‑place finish in the triple jump at 13.86 meters. Evans again led the sprinters with an 11.01 in the 100 meters, while Lopez broke the two‑minute barrier in the 800 meters with a 1:59.91. Aaron Wilson closed the meet for the Night Hawks with a 56.73 in the 400 meters.
