THOMASVILLE, Ga. - Matt is a Defensive Lineman from Walton, Ind. He served in the United States Marine Corps from 2017-2021 before beginning his academic and athletic career at Thomas University. He will graduate this academic year with a bachelor's degree in Exercise and Sports Science Bowman has been a part of the Football team for 3 years. His achievements include being named the 2024 Student Veteran Athlete of the Year by Viqtory Media, receiving SUN Conference All-Academic honors in 2024 and 2025, and being team captain for three years. 
 
Bowman was escorted by his wife Sabrina Bowman and his parents Steve and Tressa Bowman.
 
His favorite memory at Thomas is max out days with the football team. His advice for teammates is to be grateful for the opportunities that you are given because they are rare and fleeting. His future plans are moving back home to Indiana to be closer to family and open his own Gym and sports training facility.
