THOMASVILLE, Ga. – The Night Hawks returned home to face the Brewton-Parker Lady Barons in the first home game of 2025 at the TU Gym on Tuesday Night.

Jasmyn Studamire answered back with a quick layup, however Brewton-Parker answered back with a mid-range shot to bring the lead to three early, then
Sophia D'Amaro knocked down a three to tie the game at five all. A couple of foul shots put the Lady Barons back in front. After a minute of no offense from both teams, a made layup put the Night Hawks down five,
Destiny Hill cut into the deficit with a quick jumper courtesy of Studamire, However, a 7-0 run by the Lady Barons put Thomas down nine as the quarter ended.
In the second, Brewton-Parker went on an 18-0 run to begin the quarter, with the Night Hawks ending the run at the 3:14 mark. From there, the Lady Barons kept the shots falling, and the Night Hawks could not catch up, falling to Brewton-Parker.
The game was the debut for Latarius Montgomery, the center fron Eutaw, Ala. finished with six points, 12 boards and two blocks,
Kennedy Collins was the leading score for the Night Hawks with 11 points, 4 rebounds, an assist, a block and a steal. Hill finished with two points, four rebounds, three steals, two blocks and an assist.
The Night Hawks will stay home where they will face Life University on Thursday, January 9
th at 5:30.
