THOMASVILLE, Ga- A battle between two SSAC contenders came to a draw as Thomas tied with Dalton State College Roadrunners on Saturday afternoon at the TU Soccer Complex.
The game featured strong defensive performances from both teams as Dalton State's best opportunity to score came late in the first half as they were given three corner kicks, however the Night Hawks defense stood firm against the attack to take a scoreless game into the half.
Thomas's best scoring opportunity came in the second as Mckenna Swartzman went for 20 yard strike that just sailed over the goalkeepers head.
The Night Hawks will stay at home to face a top 10 opponent as No. 5 UT Southern on Thursday, September 26th at 2:00 PM.
