Sasha Manders struck the back of the net from a
Kaitlyn Herb pass to put the Night Hawks on the board 1-0. Just ten minutes into the second half Manders found the back of the net with help from Herb and
Pearl Mortimer a bto achieve a brace. For the third time in just 33 minutes Manders found the goal once again from Mortimer and
Elsebeth Andersen for her fourth career hat trick.
Mikayla Voyles added a goal to the collection off an
Ali Baca pass to bring the score to 4-0 in the 73
rd minute.
Hannah Henriksen completed the offensive effort from a freshman connection with
Jule Rohleder.
The Night Hawks conceded a lone goal as time expired in the 90
th minute to bring the final result to 5-1.
Three different Night Hawks scored and five different Night Hawks collected assists in the match. Thomas totaled 40 shots with 11 on target. Albany State had four shots with three on goal.
The Night Hawks return to action at the Jungle in Mobile, Ala. against the No. 24 Bethel Wildcats on Saturday at 8:00 p.m.
