MONTGOMERY, Ala - The Thomas University men's soccer team picked up some hardware on Wednesday night at the SSAC Men's Soccer banquet.
Jorge Gonzalez earned 2nd team honors for the second year in a row following a solid season where he started all but one game where he finished with 76 saves on 103 shots faced and had three clean sheets with a record of 6-8-2.
Pablo Novoa got the nod to the All-Freshman team following a strong season. After going down with an injury at the beginning of the season, Novoa came back and became a staple in the lineup, starting in eight of the final nine games of the season. He scored two goals and key part of the backline for the Night Hawks.

Alex Ruane was named to the Champions of Character team to represent Thomas.
