MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Southern States Athletic Conference announced the SSAC Women's Basketball Players of the Week, presented by WinWon. Sydney Steward of Faulkner (Ala.) was named SSAC Women's Basketball Offensive Player of the Week and Destiny Hill of Thomas (Ga.) was named SSAC Women's Basketball Defensive Player of the Week.
 
The awards are based on performance for the week of Nov. 4-10. 
 
Sydney Steward (Faulkner – FR – G – Hazel Green, Ala.)

• This is her first-career weekly honor
• Steward tallied 18 points, 12 rebounds and seven assists in a win over Oakwood
• She shot 58% overall and 57% from 3-point range

 
Destiny Hill (Thomas – SR – G)

• This is her first-career weekly honor
• Hill posted 12 steals across two games, with a high of eight v. SUNO
• She also averaged 10.5 rebounds, with a high of 11 v. Loyola
