MARIETTA, GA | Both the Night Hawks Men and Women's swim teams competed against Life University this past Saturday.
MEN: The Night Hawks Men's team was able to keep their perfect record and rack up 137 points total, causing them to win the meet by 26 points as Life University ended with 111 points.
Emil Schildhauer,
Jofre Mataro, Fran Visiedo, and
Tim Brown were all racking up points for the nighthawks as all of these men placed in the top two in all of their events.
Freshman
Emil Schildhauer, who was a top contributor in the Night Hawks points placed 1st in the Men's 200 yd. IM with a final time of 2:05.04. He also placed 2nd in the 500 Yard Free with a time of 4:58.36. Schildhauer also swam in the Men's 100 yd. breaststroke and came short of first place by only 0.03 seconds with a time of 58.65.
WOMEN: The Night Hawks Women's swim team racked up 92 points this past Saturday. Anna Van DeKeere came up short of first place by 0.28 seconds in the Women's 200 Yard IM, with a time of 2:15.98. However, she made it back by coming first in the 200 yd. breaststroke with a time of 2:34.10.
The Nighthawks will be back in action at the Point Invite Jan 27th.
