For the fifth time in five games, the Thomas Night Hawks faced a soccer team ranked inside the NAIA Top 20. The Night Hawks were victorious over the Life Running Eagles, 3-0, in Marietta, GA on Saturday. Coach

The Night Hawks hit the Running Eagles with a blow early, as
Alex Ruane scored just three minutes into the game. Ruane's hot foot continued early in the match, as he scored his second goal at the 12:33 mark of the game, giving Thomas a 2-0. The Night Hawks took that lead into halftime.
Night Hawk nation was on hat-trick alert during the 2nd half. Thomas would get the third goal, but this one was off of the foot of
Ethan Moore with an assist from
Will Nye in the 59th minute.
On the day, took 12 shots, with six of them being on goal. Life took 11 shots with four of them being on goal.
Jorge Gonzalez was in the net for the shutout for the Night Hawks. The shutout by Gonzalez is his third on the season.
The Night Hawks will be on the road next week, traveling to Middle Georgia State on Thursday and Brewton-Parker on Saturday.
