Thomas split a doubleheader with Keiser at Armory Field, with each team winning by a score of 5-3. The split, put Thomas in 5th place in the Sun Conference standings, 1/2 game ahead of Warner.
Game One
Thomas jumped ahead first by plating two runs in the bottom of the 3rd inning.
Grace Hodges reach first base via an error.
Avery Shepard followed with a single.
Holly Campbell sacrificed the pair to 2nd and 3rd base.
Adreanna Killingsworth knocked a single, to collect the two RBIs. Keiser quickly answered in the top of the 4th inning with a two-run homerun by Molly Reid.
Thomas would retake the lead in the bottom of the 4th inning. Avery Shepard reached first base on a fielder choice, and later stole 3nd base. She would come around to score on a
Holly Campbell single, to make the score 3-2, entering the 5th inning.
Keiser would score the final three runs of the day. Lizzie Small would hit an RBI singel to score Ashley Bullock. Kelsie Merriman hit an RBI double to drive in Addison Fyles, who pinch ran for Small. Faith Fournier would pinch run for Merriman and eventually score on a Lacee Travens single, to close out the scoring at 5-3,
Game Two
Keiser would open the scoring in the top of the 1st inning with a Llizzie Small sacrifice fly, to score Tess McGann. Thomas would quickly answer as Shepard would lead off the home half of the innig with a single and subsequently steal 2nd base. Shepard would score on a
Holly Campbell double. After advancing to 3rd base on a Killingsworth sacrifice bunt, Campbell would score on an Keiser error that allowed
AnnMarie McAfee to reach 1st base. giving Thomas a 2-1 lead.
During the bottom of the 2nd inning, a 45-minute lightning delay would occur. Facing darkness and potential rain, Thomas added another run in the 3rd inning. Killingsworth lead off the inning with a single.
Faith Graben would pinch run for Killingsworth and steal 2nd base and then advance to 3rd base on a wild pitch. Graben would score on a McAfee sacrifice fly, to increase the NIght Hawk lead to 3-1.
Keiser would tie the game at 3-3 in the 4th inning, when Travens drove in two Seahawks with a single. Thomas would retake the lead in the bottom of the inning when Sarah Culf drew a leadoff walk.
Morgan Beardsley would courtesy run for the catcher and ultimately score when
Holly Campbell would reach 1st base on a Keiser error. Shepard, who batted between the pair, would also score on the error. Despite Keiser threatening in the 6th and 7th inning, Thomas would hold on for the 5-3 victory.

Saturday's rubber match has been moved to a 10am start time due to the forecast of rain throughout the afternoon.
