Gabe Tafelski would step to the plate with one out and triple to right-center field. After a brief mound visit by the Warriors head coach, it was decided to pitch to Delay, instead of walking him to set up the double play. Delay delivered on a 0-2 pitch, driving the ball to right-center for the walk-off single to score Tafelski, and the Thomas victory.
