MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – The 2022-23 All-Sun Conference Women's Basketball Teams were announced on Thursday as voted on by the league's nine head coaches. This year's teams feature 10 first-team selections, and 10 second-team honorees.

Senior Lenise Santiago earned second-team recognition, becoming the first person since the 2020-2021 season to earn the achievement.

Lenise was a vital asset to the Night Hawks' offense. Santiago averaged nearly 36 minutes a game while leading the team in scoring (15.8 per game), which puts her at No.7 in the conference. She averaged double-figures in 20 of the 25 games that she played in with her highest-scoring game (27) coming from the Webber International matchup on January 7th.

Additionally, The Tampa, Fla was not afraid of taking her chance outside the perimeter as she led the team in 3pct (23%).

Despite the tough losses that the Night Hawks faced throughout the season, Lenise did not shy away from contact and was able to create several scoring opportunities at the Charity Stripe, converting 83% of attempts.

The Senior guard also dished out the ball several times throughout the season leading the team in assists per game (2.6).
