Lenise Santiago netted 24 points in Thomas University's 69-50 loss to University of West Georgia Wednesday at The Coliseum.

Santiago was just three points shy of her season high in points, hitting nine field goals, including one trey, and going 5-of-6 at the line. She also grabbed six rebounds and recorded two assists and a steal.

Dejah Wilson pulled down 10 boards and
Destiny Hill grabbed eight rebounds.

Jade Studamire knocked down a pair of 3-pointers.

After a tied first quarter, West Georgia took a five-point halftime lead. The Night Hawks hung around in the third quarter, but were outscored 21-11 in the fourth quarter to take the 69-50 loss.

Twenty-two of Thomas' 50 points were scored in the paint.

TU, which is now 1-24 overall, ends the regular season on Saturday when the Night Hawks face College of Coastal Georgia in Sun Conference action at 2 p.m. in Brunswick, Ga.
