BRUNSWICK, Ga. – The Thomas University women's basketball team ended their season Saturday with an 87-65 loss to College of Coastal Georgia at Coffin Gym.

Dejah Wilson collected 15 points and 14 rebounds for her seventh double-double of the season. She also recorded nine games with 10+ points and had 16 outings with at least 10 rebounds. Against CCG, she added three steals and two assists for the Night Hawks.

Jade Studamire netted 21 points and
Lenise Santiago added 20 to lead the Night Hawks offensively. Studamire went 8-for-8 at the line and drained a trio of 3-pointers. Santiago was also perfect at the stripe (6-6) and hit two treys. She added five assists and five rebounds for TU.

Studamire started the game with a 3-pointer to give TU the 3-0 lead, but CCG answered with a trey to tie the game. Studamire knocked down a jumper two minutes later, and Wilson put up a pair of layups to give TU the 9-7 lead midway through the first quarter. CCG went on a 13-3 run to end the period and TU never led again in the game. The Night Hawks trailed 45-32 at the half, then lost the game, 87-65.

Santiago, the team's lone senior, ends the season with 20 games scoring in double digits, including eight 20-point outings. She averaged 15.8 points, 3.0 rebounds and 2.6 assists in 25 games this season, while shooting 28.8 percent from the field, 23.0 percent from long range and 83.7 percent at the line. Her season high 27 points were recorded at Webber International (1/7/23).

The Night Hawks end the season 1-25 overall and 0-16 in the Sun Conference.
