Thomasville, Ga | The Thomas University women's basketball team (2-7, 1-3) hosted #19 Loyola University (LA) (7-1, 3-0) on Saturday afternoon.
In the first period, the Wolfpack would start the game with a 10-0 run. The Night Hawks would then answer with a 11-2 run of their own to end the first down by 4, 15-11. In the second, Loyola would score 29 points in the quarter, which would be the most by any team in a quarter. Thomas would find themselves trailing by 15 points going into the half.
The second half would play out much like the second quarter. The Wolfpack would be able to control the game and keep it out of reach for the Night Hawks. Ultimately, Loyola would take a 86-55 point victory.
Dejah Wilson would record 11 points and 5 rebounds. Destiny Hill would tally 7 points, 7 rebounds, and 5 steals.
NEXT UP: Thomas will travel to West Palm Beach, FL to take on Keiser University on December 9th. Tip off is set for 4:00 PM.
