Thomasville, Ga | On Tuesday evening Thomas (0-1, 0-0 SSAC) hosted Keiser University (2-0, 0-0 SUN) for the first game of the season.
The first quarter proved that it would be an up-tempo contest. Thomas would lead, 19-15, at the end of the period.
Jasmyn Studamire would lead the Night Hawks with 9 points in 5 minutes.
Then, the Seahawks would capitalize on a couple 3 pointers of their own to go on a run in the second quarter. As a result, Keiser would go into the half with a four point lead.
The scoring in the third quarter would continue to go back and forth. The Seahawks would eventually win the quarter by one point.
Sheridan Green would score 9 points and grab 3 rebounds.
Jasmyn Studamire would continue her efficiency, scoring 8 points and grabbing 4 rebounds.
However, in the fourth quarter, the Seahawks would outscore the Night Hawks, 27-13, to ultimately take a 84-67 win.
Jasmyn Studamire scored a career high 25 points, and grabbed 7 rebounds.
Sheridan Green would score 16 points and grab 5 rebounds in her Thomas debut.
Dejah Wilson would clear 10 rebounds and score 7 points.
The Night Hawks shot 40% from the field and 22.6% from behind the arc, while hitting only 61.5% of their free throws.
