THOMASVILLE, Ga. –
Jade Studamire scored 28 points in Thomas University's 60-48 loss to College of Coastal Georgia Saturday afternoon at the TU Gymnasium.

Studamire hit a trio of treys and went 11-of-12 at the line. This was her second 20-point game of the season, along with 22 points against Middle Georgia State in November.

Destiny Hill posted season highs with 13 points and 16 rebounds. Prior to the game, Hill had scored nine points and grabbed 11 rebounds total in six games. She also swiped six steals in the game against CCG.

Dejah Wilson pulled down 12 rebounds, her eighth game with double-digit boards.

TU led 16-13 after the first quarter, but trailed by one, 28-27, at the half. Coastal Georgia outscored TU 17-4 in the third quarter, leading to the 60-48 victory for the Mariners.

Six Night Hawks played in the game, four of which scored for TU: Studamire 28, Hill 13, Wilson 4 and
Amina Rutherford 3.

Thomas falls to 1-15 overall and 0-8 in the Sun Conference while Coastal Georgia improved to 2-15, 1-7.

The Night Hawks next face University of Fort Lauderdale Jan. 19 at 5:30 p.m. in the TU Gymnasium.
