The Thomas University Men's Soccer team is set to travel to Cochran, Georgia to play the Knights from Middle Georgia at Nesmith Field.
The Night Hawks (0-1-1) enter Thursday's contest looking for its first win of the 2022 season, after battling to a tie and a loss in last weekend's Mobile Classic.
In Thomas' first two games of the season, the Night Hawks went down first before ultimately finding a way to tie both contests back up. In Friday's season opener TU held on for the tie, but Sunday, the Night Hawks fell to RV LSU-Shreveport with a late second half goal handing the team its first loss of the 2022 season.
In the historical matchup against the Knights, the Night Hawks will look to remain undefeated against MGA, with last year's win moving Thomas to a record of 4-0, dating back to 2014. Despite this, last year's 2-1 victory was the two teams first matchup since the fall of 2017.
In the most recent game, second half goals from James Hall and Cavan Daley helped the Night Hawks squeak out last season's 2-1 win.
This year, the Night Hawks will open Middle Georgia's season with kickoff on Thursday set for 5 p.m.
