THOMASVILLE, Ga. – The Thomas University Men's soccer team will open their Fall 2022 season this weekend with a pair of contests in Mobile, Alabama. 

The Night Hawks' 2022 campaign begins Friday night under the lights against RV Embry-Riddle (Ariz.) in the University of Mobile's Mobile Classic. TU's night under the lights against the Eagles is set for 7:30 p.m. 

After the Friday night contest, the Night Hawks will use Saturday to recoup before taking on the Pilots from LSU-Shreveport, Sunday. 

Much like Thomas' run in the Mobile Classic, the Pilots will face off against the University of Mobile Friday afternoon before competing against the Night Hawks on Sunday. 

The matchups this weekend will be the first two of three away games to start the season before the Night Hawks host its home opener on September 2nd. 

Thomas prepared for the season-opening weekend by gaining a pair of dominant preseason wins against Andrew College (11-0) and Georgia Military College (6-0). The Night Hawks controlled both contests entirely, scoring a combined 17 goals without conceding. 

Kickoff Friday night at The Jungle is slated for 7:30 p.m. Sunday's kickoff at the same venue is scheduled for 3 pm. Both game times are reflected in Eastern Standard time.
