MARIETTA, Ga. – Thomas University women's basketball lost, 69-47, to Life University Monday night at the Eagles Nest.

Thomas forced the Eagles into 20 turnovers in the game, with 13 in the first half.

The Night Hawks fell behind early, trailing 13-5 after the first quarter, but outscored the Eagles, 19-17 in the second quarter. After the half, TU was outscored 39-23 in the final two quarters to fall 69-47.

Mahogany Menefee scored 13 points and
Lenise Santiago added 11 for the Night Hawks.
Dejah Wilson posted eight points and grabbed nine rebounds while swiping four steals.
Sierra Bell hit a pair of treys.

Thomas is now 1-11 on the season.

The Night Hawks return to action in the TU Gymnasium on New Year's Eve, hosting Middle Georgia State University at 2 p.m.
