MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Sophomore
Lenise Santiago tallied 20 points and
Mahogany Menefee added 16 in Thomas University's 69-58 loss to Milligan University Saturday in the Jimmy Faulkner Classic.

Dejah Wilson put up big numbers, grabbing nine rebounds and scoring eight points while
Sonya Dozier added nine points and seven boards for the Night Hawks.

Milligan jumped out to the 48-28 halftime lead, but Thomas outscored the Buffaloes 30-21 in the second stanza. The Night Hawks made a run in the fourth, drawing the score within seven with less than two minutes to play, but Milligan hit field goal with 1:23 remaining to take the 9-point lead and keep TU at a distance.

The Thomas (0-4) defense forced Milligan (1-2) into 20 turnovers in the final game of the event.

The Night Hawks next travel to West Palm Beach, Fla., to face Keiser University on Nov. 10 before returning to TU Gymnasium Nov. 12 to battle Life University at 2 p.m.
