Game Recap: Women's Soccer |

TU Falls to No. 10 SEU, Prepares for SUN Tournament

THOMASVILLE, Ga. – The Thomas University women's soccer team fell, 2-0, to No. 10 Southeastern University Tuesday at the TU Soccer Complex to end the regular season.
 
Southeastern scored off a corner kick in the 26th minute to take the lead, then added a second goal in the 64th minute off a free kick to earn the 2-0 victory.
 
Emily Lamoreaux made eight saves for the Night Hawks against the Fire, on the heels of her career and season high of 15 saves against St. Thomas in her last outing.
 
Thomas outshot SEU 6-5 in the first half, but the Night Hawks were outshot 12-2 in the second period.
 
Jade Slaybaugh attempted a team high three shots, with one on goal, and Jana Pastorek tallied Thomas' other attempt on frame.
 
SEU improved to 12-2-2 overall and 6-1-1 in the Sun Conference while Thomas fell to 8-4-4 overall and 3-2-3 in the league.
 
The Night Hawks next play on Saturday, Nov. 5 in the Sun Conference Championships. More information about the tournament will be available following Thursday's matchup between No. 1 Keiser and Warner.
