BABSON PARK, FLA- The Thomas University Women's Soccer team had a road trip to face off against Webber International on Saturday morning as the Night Hawks concluded the SUN conference matchup in a draw.

The Night Hawks (6-2-3, 1-0-2) started off the game with a few chances in the net but could not find the sweet spot with a few shots going wide for the Green and White. Thomas did not slow down their pace moving forward in the first half, but the Warrior's defense accepted the challenge by holding TU to just three shots in the first half. 

Entering the second half, Webber (7-1-2, 1-1-2) continued with their defensive momentum as Webber held the Night Hawks to several missed chances to take a small lead. The Warriors broke their silence by a goal from Becky Willkins to put WU up. TU remained calm as it did not take Thomas long to answer back as Senior Jana Pastorek tied the game with an assist from Senior Janae Scott in the 62nd minute of the game.

Eventually, the game went back to a battle of shots as both sides could not find leverage to take a slim lead. 

The Warriors concluded the day with a total of seven shots with seven on goal and seven saves. WU also had two corner kicks. Thomas University finished the matchup with nineteen shots with eight on goal and seven saves.The Night Hawks also finished the day with three corner kicks.

WHAT'S NEXT:  TU will have a few days to get ready for their next matchup against #1 Keiser University Thursday. Kick off is set for 11am in the Rose City.
