WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – The Thomas University Men's swimming team had another taste of championship-quality competition Saturday, facing the top two teams in the nation, but the Night Hawks could not keep up with Keiser and St. Thomas. In double dual scoring, Thomas fell to #1 Keiser 187-46 while #2 St. Thomas defeated the Green & White 173-66 at the Lake Lytal Aquatic Center.
Thomas (3-2) was highlighted by Senior
Wyatt Dalton, finishing second in the 200-Yard Backstroke (2:01.90) while placing third in the Backstroke's 100-Yard event (0:55.53). Freshmen
Ethan Kilgore and
Chase Parman placed second and third, respectively, in a 200-Yard Butterfly event of five swimmers. Freshman
Diego Alonso fell within five seconds of taking home the 200-Yard Breaststroke title, finishing with a time of 2:15.25.
