THOMASVILLE, Ga. – The career weekend performance from Junior
Jana Pastorek continues to rack up accolades. On Tuesday afternoon, the Moormerland, Germany native was recognized at the national level, as Pastorek was named the NAIA National Offensive Player of the Week. Pastorek is the first Night Hawk to achieve NAIA's National weekly honor since Baseball's Kaleb Holbrook in 2015.
For the NAIA's weekly honor, student-athletes are nominated for their performances and are selected from the group of winners at the conference levels and independents (Continental Athletic Conference).
The Night Hawks return to the pitch Saturday to host RV Middle Georgia State with a 1 p.m. kickoff.
