WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – The Thomas University Women's soccer team could not stop a second half surge from #2 Keiser, as the Seahawks blanked the Night Hawks 4-0 Thursday afternoon at Arrigo-Vecellio Field.
After Thomas (5-4, 0-1 SUN) limited Keiser (6-1, 1-0 SUN) to one goal in the first half, the Seahawks quickly went on the attack in the second half, extending its lead to 2-0 before adding a pair of goals in the final 10 minutes to secure a 4-0 win.
TU was limited to four shots in the contest, with Junior
Jana Pastorek making two. Sophomore Goalkeeper Trinity Chastain faced 24 shots, recording eight saves on the day.
Thomas returns to the pitch Saturday, as the team faces Ave Maria. Kickoff at AMU Soccer Field is scheduled for 1 p.m.
