THOMASVILLE, Ga. – The Thomas University Men's soccer team will attempt to get its record to .500 Saturday, as the Night Hawks host Florida College in non-conference action.
Thomas (2-3) is fresh off another come from behind win, defeating Warner 2-1 Wednesday. With five games remaining in the Spring 2021, the Night Hawks are in the hunt for an A.I.I. Tournament bid.
The Hunter Green & White have now seen five different players that have registered a goal this season, including most recent goals from Junior
Diego Azar and Senior
Jason Piurowski.
In his first two matches of Spring 2021, Sophomore Goalkeeper
Josh Ricord (2-0) has recorded six saves and has allowed just one goal in each contest.
It has been one month and six days since Florida College (5-8, 0-5 SSAC) has last scored a goal in a game. Uziel Hernandez leads the team with six goals and 21 shots on the season. The Falcons have averaged five shots a goal in the previous three matches.
Saturday will mark the first-ever meet between Thomas and Florida College.
