ST. SIMONS, Ga. – The Thomas University women's golf team opened the spring season on Monday at the Coastal Georgia Winter Invitational held at the King and Prince Golf Course.
Freshman
Anna Asphamn fired a 75 to tie for eighth and junior
Angela Rivera tied for 22nd after shooting an 80 on the first day. Junior
Dorminy Johnson and junior
Laura Mican each carded an 85, tying for 37th, and sophomore
Zara Alexander is tied for 57th after her first round 89.

Thomas is seventh in the team competition, posting a 325. Eastern Florida State is pacing the field with a 13-over 301.
The Night Hawks are back in action Tuesday for the second day of competition at the King and Prince Golf Course.
