THOMASVILLE, Ga. –
Alisha Clayton scored 11 points and grabbed 17 rebounds while
Alexis Powell hit five 3-pointers in Thomas University's 65-58 win over Warner University Saturday at the TU Gymnasium.
Clayton also dished out three assists and swiped one steal in the Night Hawks' third win of the season.
Powell drained five 3-pointers on her way to 16 points to lead TU offensively, and posted five assists and a pair of steals.
TU made 10 shots from long range, the most of the season. The Night Hawks recorded 16 assists on 20 made field goals.
Thomas trailed by one at the half, 28-27, then outscored the Lions 38-30 in the second half to take home the win.
The Night Hawks next hit the road for three straight games at Southeastern (Jan. 23) in Lakeland, Fla., Ave Maria (Jan. 25) in Ave Maria, Fla., and Coastal Georgia (Feb. 1) in Brunswick, Ga.
