LAKELAND, Fla. – The Thomas University women's basketball team lost, 107-43, to No. 1 Southeastern University Thursday evening.
SEU (18-2, 10-0) jumped out to an early 27-8 lead after the first quarter, and never looked back, dropping Thomas to 3-11 overall and 1-9 in the conference.
Gabrielle Jester led Thomas with 12 points, knocking down four 3-pointers.
Ashley Bostick added nine points and
Akasha Williams had eight.
Jewel Montisano drained a pair of treys, and dished out five assists as
Destiny Reed pulled down a team high seven boards.
The Night Hawks are back in action Saturday, facing Ave Maria in Florida at 2 p.m.
