LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. – The Thomas University men's soccer team lost, 3-0, to No. 12 Georgia Gwinnett College in the final match of the Labor Day Grizzly Classic. 

The Grizzlies scored within the first 10 minutes of the match, then added two more in the second period to improve to 2-0-2. Thomas falls to 1-2-0 with the loss. 

TU's Salvador Marin attempted a pair of shots on goal, and Mark Lescher and Aron Wimberly each attempted one shot on goal. 

Ben Barnes made six saves, but allowed three goals in 90 minutes in net. 

Thomas next faces No. 21 Bethel University Sept. 5 at 5:30 p.m. in Mobile, Ala.
