PRATTVILLE, Ala. – Thomas University senior Genevieve Courtney won the Falkner Spring Invitational, carding a 8-over 152 over two days at the Senator Course at Robert Trent Jones Capitol Hill Club.

Courtney fired a 2-under 70 in the first round, then recorded a 10-over 82 on the second day to take the crown.

Sophomore Dorminy Johnson improved nine strokes and six spots to place sixth after a second-round 2-over 74. 

Redshirt senior Laura Alexander also made great improvements in her second round, carding a 4-over 76 following her first-round 90, to tie for 14th.

Sophomore Angela Rivera posted a 79-91 to place 17th and freshman Zara Alexander tied for 24th with a 90-92. 

As a team, the Night Hawks finished third in the seven-team invitational with a 322-323 – 645. SCAD-Atlanta won the tournament (627) and Faulkner was second at 632.
