NORTH MIAMI, Fla. – Four Night Hawks scored in double digits in Thomas University's 84-72 loss to Johnson & Wales University (Fla) at the Wildcat Center. 

Alexis Powell drained a trio of 3-pointers on her way to a team high 19 points. Samantha Gilbert added 17 and Ashley Bostick and Destiny Reed each scored 11 points for TU. Bostick also dished out five assists. Alisha Clayton grabbed a team high seven rebounds and tallied three steals. 

Thomas (0-7, 0-5) shot a season high 50 percent (26-52) from the field and 46.2 percent (6-13) from long range. 

The Night Hawks return to TU Gymnasium Dec. 16 to face Trinity Baptist College (Fla.).
