MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Thomas University women's basketball team lost, 66-58, to Faulkner University Thursday evening.
Alisha Clayton filled up her stat line with eight points, seven rebounds, four steals and three assists for Thomas (0-2).
Samantha Gilbert led TU in scoring with 11 points, along with four rebounds, three steals and two assists.
Gabrielle Jester knocked down a trio of 3-pointers for the Night Hawks.
After falling behind, 21-14 in the first quarter, Thomas won the second quarter, 16-13, to trail by four at the half. The Night Hawks fell eight points behind after the third quarter, then held that margin through the final stanza.
Thomas forced Faulkner into 28 turnovers, while swiping 13 steals.
