THOMASVILLE, Ga. – The Thomas University men's soccer team scored three goals in the second half to down Florida National University, 3-0, in non-conference action Wednesday at the TU Soccer Complex.
FNU outshot TU 8-1 in the first half, but Thomas made the most of its six shots in the second period, scoring three goals.
Mateo Arbelaez sent a ball over the top, which was finished by
Salvador Marin for TU's first goal at 53:00.
Gavin Rochford-Smith then put a penalty kick in the back of the net for Thomas' second goal of the game and his 12th goal of the season.
Then with one minute remaining in the game, Arbelaez finished a cross from
Rene Rivera to net the final goal.

Ben Barnes made five saves in 90 minutes in goal, his third shutout in his last four appearances.
The Night Hawks wrap up the home portion of the regular season schedule Saturday at noon against Florida Memorial University.
