THOMASVILLE, Ga. – The Thomas University women's soccer team defeated Ave Maria University, 10-0, Saturday to win its fifth straight home match at the TU Soccer Complex.
Thomas is currently ranked fourth in the Sun Conference with a 3-1-1 mark in the league and 9-3-1 overall record.
TU scored four goals in the first half, then added six more in the second period to take the 10-0 win. The Night Hawks outshot Ave Maria 40-9 overall and 17-5 on goal in the conference matchup.
Analeice Wilkes took five shots, all on goal, and scored four for the Night Hawks.
Emily Linscer added three goals and an assist, and
Taylor Hults scored a pair of goals.
Barbara Woll scored one goal and assisted on two.
Thomas makes its final road trip of the season Oct. 16 to face USC Beaufort, then plays four straight home matches, including two against Top 5 teams, to end the regular season.
