MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Thomas University men's soccer team tied host Faulkner University, 0-0, Sunday afternoon to go undefeated at the Faulkner Invitational this week.
TU defeated Dalton State 4-2 Friday, in the first game of the event. Thomas is now 1-2-1 on the season.
The Night Hawks attempted 13 shots, three on goal, while Faulkner notched five shots on goal from 13 shots.

Ben Barnes saved all five of the Eagles' shots on goal in 110 minutes of action. Offensively, junior
Henry Jones attempted a pair of shots on goal and classmate
Gavin Rochford-Smith tallied four shots, with one on goal.
Thomas attacked first, as Jones' first shot was saved by Faulkner's goalkeeper, then a corner from
Jack Chambers to
Myke Zamor was blocked, all in the first four minutes of play.
In the 28th minute, TU couldn't convert on a pair of corner kicks from Chambers. Faulker attempted just three shots in the final 22 minutes of the half, while Thomas took three shots and a pair of corners in that time.
Chambers and
Salvador Marin each took shots that sailed high in the first 10 minutes of the second period.
Y'Sef Glass attempted a pair of shots, one of which was blocked and the other went high. Thomas' final attack of regulation was a shot by Jones that was saved by Faulkner's keeper with one minute to play.
Neither team took a shot in the first overtime and Thomas outshot Faulkner 2-1 in the second overtime.
The Night Hawks next travel to the University of Tampa (Fla.) Sept. 12, then host a three-game homestand, beginning with No. 7 Mobile (Sept. 16), before opening Sun Conference play with Ave Maria (Sept. 22) and Webber International (Sept. 26).
