Thomas University used a 15-7 advantage in the second quarter to to top Webber International 60-46 on Saturday afternoon in the TU Gymnasium. The win has the Night Hawks currently in the final spot for the Sun Conference Championships later this month. The 2 wins this week mark the first back-to-back wins for Tu since November.
Webber held a 12-11 lead after the 1st quarter, but TU used a 15-1 run to the at the start ogf the 2nd quarter to gain a lead they would never lose.
Kriza Allen led the NIght Hawks with 13 points, including 9 in the second half.
Dymon Brown scored 12, and
Jewel Montisano added 10.
De'Audra Copeland and
Alisha Clayton each grabbed 9 rebounds for the good guys. As a team, TU shot 39% from the field, and 74% from the line, including 13-14 in the second half.
