WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – Thomas University won two of three games against No. 10 Keiser (Fla.) this weekend, taking the rubber match, 4-1, Saturday afternoon.
The Night Hawks defeated Keiser 15-5 on Friday, but also lost, 19-1 to the Seahawks in that doubleheader. TU improved to 7-7 this season while Keiser dropped to 7-3.

Taylor Westbrook drew a walk then scored on Young's double to right center.

Jalbert Melo singled up the middle in the top of the fifth, then scored after a sac bunt by 3B
Landon Boyette and a single by Westbrook moved Melo to third. Young grounded out to second base, plating TU's second run.
Keiser's three singles in the bottom of the seventh led to one run for the Seahawks, but in the top of the eighth, Thomas added two insurance runs as Hinson sent a two-run homer over the left field fence.
Thomas returns to Varnedoe Stadium Feb. 20 for a doubleheader against Brewton-Parker (Ga.). First pitch is at 3 p.m. in Thomasville, Ga.
