Thomas University picked up it's 3rd road victory of the year at Warner University in Lake Wales, FL on Thursday night, winning 64-60. The win pulls the Night Hawks into a tie with Warner and Webber International for the final spot in the Sun Conference Tournament. TU jumped out to a 7-0 lead at the start, by 8 after each of the first three quarters, and by as many as 13 in the 4th; before the Royals' rally fell short in the final 3 minutes.
The Night Hawks cruised to a 25-17 lead at the half, led by
De'Audra Copeland who had 8 points at the half, and finished with a game high 18 points.
Kriza Allen tallied 15 points and
Pkacia Johnson added 12.
Alisha Clayton grabbed 9 rebounds to lead the Night Hawks on the boards.As a team, TU shot 44% from the field, including 38% from behind the arc.
