MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – Thomas University senior
Micah Garvin netted 26 points and nine rebounds in the Night Hawks' 80-70 loss to St. Thomas University in Sun Conference action Saturday at the Fernandez Family Center.
Garvin was 10-of-23 from the field and 6-of-7 at the line. Junior
Jewel Montisano added 12 points, three steals and three assists while sophomore
Alisha Clayton scored seven points and pulled down eight rebounds.
After winning the first quarter, 20-19, Thomas was outscored in each of the final three quarters to fall by 10 points.
Thomas wrapped up its four-game road stand today, and will return to the TU Gymnasium Dec. 4 to face Brewton-Parker at 5:30 p.m. The Night Hawks then play six straight on the road from Dec. 6 to Jan. 1, returning to Thomasville Jan. 3 to play No. 3 Southeastern at 5:30 p.m.
