Night Hawks face No. 2 Keiser


THOMASVILLE, Ga. – Thomas travels to No. 2 Keiser (Fla.) on Saturday for a dual meet starting at 10 a.m. ET.

ABOUT THOMAS

On Jan. 13, Thomas split a double dual meet at Point (Ga.), defeating Life (Ga.), 72-63, but losing to the Skyhawks, 105-82.

Thomas' Jamie Haught won the 1,000 freestyle in a time of 11:42.82 and 500 freestyle in 5:47.26. Kiana Ocasio-Molina took the top spot in the 200 backstroke in 2:21.86 and 200 individual medley in 2:28.25. Marien Rincon Medina finished first in the 200 breaststroke with a time of 2:47.75. 

The Night Hawks' Haley Helms took second in the 100 breaststroke in a time of 1:24.75 and 50 freestyle in 29.12 seconds. 

The 400 freestyle relay team of Rincon Medina, Haught, Helms and Ocasio-Molina won the event in 4:04.34.

ABOUT KEISER

The Seahawks are coming off a 212-46 dual meet loss at Tampa, ranked No. 5 in NCAA Division II, on Jan. 12.

Varvara Klyueva was the runner-up in the 100 backstroke with a time of 1:02.58. In the 100-yard butterfly, Anna Lofton took second by touching the wall in 1:00.08.
